Upper Limb Bedside Active and Passive Trainer (APT-2000D)
Accelerate the recovery of arm and hand function with the Bedside Upper Limb Active & Passive Trainer. This intelligent rehabilitation system is specifically designed for bedridden, ICU, and early-stage stroke patients. By providing controlled, repetitive movement directly at the bedside, it helps prevent joint contractures, reduces muscle spasticity, and facilitates neural pathway reorganization in the upper extremities.
Versatile Therapy Modes
Passive Training (Motor-Driven): For patients with significant paralysis or low muscle tone, the machine provides 100% motorized assistance. It moves the shoulder, elbow, and wrist through a physiological range of motion to maintain joint lubrication and prevent "frozen" joints.
Active-Assisted Training: The system’s sensitive motors detect the patient's minimal muscle effort and provide just enough "boost" to complete the movement, fostering confidence and neuroplasticity.
Active Training (Resistance-Based): Once muscle strength improves, patients can move the trainer against variable resistance levels, focusing on muscle hypertrophy and motor control coordination.
Designed to fit over standard hospital beds and ICU frames, the cantilevered support arm offers maximum stability without obstructing nursing care. The ergonomic handles are interchangeable to accommodate different grip strengths and hand positions, ensuring the therapy is tailored to each patient’s specific needs.
Clinical Indications
This trainer is an essential tool for the rehabilitation of upper limb dysfunction resulting from:
Cerebrovascular accidents (Stroke/Hemiplegia)
Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI)
Brachial plexus or peripheral nerve injuries
Post-operative orthopedic shoulder or elbow recovery
Neuromuscular diseases affecting the upper body
