Physioled Onda Radial Shockwave Therapy Unit | ESWT Physiotherapy
Physioled Onda is a radial (non-focal) shockwave therapy device delivering up to 185 mJ MAX energy (equivalent to approximately 6 bar pneumatic pressure) across 4 working modes (continuous, 4-pulse, 8-pulse, 12-pulse) at 1–22 Hz with three interchangeable applicator heads (6, 15, 25mm diameter). Onda's compact, portable design and high energy output make it an effective ESWT platform for a broad range of musculoskeletal and orthopaedic conditions in clinical physiotherapy and sports medicine settings.
Therapeutic indications: Bunions, Coxarthrosis, Epicondylitis / Epitrocleitis, Stress Fracture / Periostitis, Active Periostitis, Rhizoarthrosis, Tendinitis and Tendinopathy, Tendoperiostitis.
Onda's radial shockwave mechanism generates mechanical pressure waves via an electromagnetically accelerated projectile in the handpiece, transferring energy into the tissue to create bio-stimulation reactions — positive therapeutic effects across a wide range of orthopaedic and antalgic conditions. The improved pressure wave distribution reduces the painful sensation during treatment compared to earlier shockwave devices, enabling higher therapeutic energy delivery with better patient tolerance and clinical feedback. High-intensity delivery specifically targets tendon ossifications, improving the biological repair mechanism in calcific tendinopathies where other modalities are insufficient.
