Lambda YAG — Class 4 Nd:YAG Laser Therapy Unit upto 10 W Continuous/Pulsed Laser

SKU ELECT-THE-01015

The Lambda YAG is a Class 4 Nd:YAG laser therapy unit delivering up to 10W at 1064nm in both continuous and pulsed emission modes. The 1064nm wavelength's exceptional tissue penetration, combined with the Lambda YAG's continuous emission capability, makes it the preferred Lambda variant for deep osteoarticular pathologies, periosteal conditions, and deep muscle pathologies where 905nm devices cannot deliver sufficient energy to the target tissue.

Continuous Emission Mode — Deep Bio-Stimulation and Tissue Regeneration The continuous emission mode delivers a constant photon flux to the target tissue — maximising energy dose rate and thermal effect at depth. Continuous mode is specifically indicated for pathologies where the lesion is at significant tissue depth, triggering cellular bio-stimulation processes and tissue regeneration while generating a controlled thermal effect that improves local microcirculation, reduces viscosity of deep connective tissue, and accelerates cellular repair cycles. Continuous mode is the primary mode for chronic deep-seated pathologies requiring regenerative bio-stimulation.

Pulsed Emission Mode — Acute Phase Anti-Inflammatory Therapy The pulsed emission mode delivers discrete high-power pulses with off-time between each — significantly reducing the average power and thermal accumulation while preserving the photobiomodulation bio-stimulation effect. Pulsed mode is specifically indicated for acute phase pathologies where thermal accumulation would be contraindicated or uncomfortable — enabling anti-inflammatory photobiomodulation therapy in acutely inflamed tissue, fast tissue regeneration with minimal heat production, and maintenance of cellular energy balance (ATP/ADP ratio) without thermal stress.

635nm Aiming Light Guide The Lambda YAG's therapeutic 1064nm beam is invisible to the human eye — a critical safety consideration for a Class 4 laser. A coaxial 635nm visible red aiming beam (2mW) provides precise, real-time visual confirmation of the treatment beam's exact position on the tissue surface — enabling accurate anatomical targeting and safe operation.

Class 4 Safety Requirements As a Class 4 laser device, Lambda YAG requires appropriate safety protocols including operator and patient protective eyewear (included in standard composition), treatment room safety measures, and operator laser safety training. The remote interlock connector kit (included) allows the Lambda YAG to be integrated with room safety interlock systems — preventing accidental laser emission when the treatment room door is opened.
