GX-300 Rowing Machine — Clinical Back & Posture Muscle Strengthening
The OG Wellness PREFIT GX-300 is a clinical-grade rowing exercise machine engineered for back muscle strengthening and posture maintenance in preventive care and rehabilitation settings.
The GX-300 targets the primary back postural muscles — including the rhomboids, trapezius, latissimus dorsi, and posterior deltoids — through a pulling motion that directly counteracts the forward-rounded shoulder posture that develops with age, sedentary work, and musculoskeletal deconditioning. Strengthening these muscles is fundamental to maintaining upright posture, preventing neck and lower back pain, and sustaining the functional independence that allows elderly and rehabilitation patients to perform daily activities without fatigue or pain.
Made in Japan | CE Marked | Resistance: 3–63 kg | Single-motion seated adjustment | ROM stopper
One-Handed & Two-Handed Rowing — Easy Mode Changes : The GX-300 allows easy switching between one-handed and two-handed rowing modes. Two-handed rowing provides bilateral, symmetrical loading of the back musculature — suitable for general strengthening and symmetry training. One-handed rowing introduces unilateral loading that additionally challenges core stabilisation and can be used to address strength asymmetries between sides — a common presentation after stroke, shoulder pathology, or unilateral injury. Mode changes are achieved simply without tools or machine adjustment.
Seated Adjustments — All Controls Within Arm's Reach : All adjustments on the GX-300 — seat height, weight setting, and positioning — are performed without leaving the seat. Weight settings are laid out within arm's reach, allowing users to independently change the resistance between sets or during a session without therapist assistance. Seat height adjusts while seated using a single-motion lever, with colour-coded position indicators making the correct setting immediately readable without bending to inspect the mechanism. Auxiliary weights enable fine 0.3 kg increments for precise load progression in the low resistance range.
ROM Stopper — Training Safety for All Ability Levels : The range of motion (ROM) stopper allows the therapist or instructor to set a specific endpoint for the rowing motion — limiting how far the arms pull back and preventing joint overstress, compensatory movement, or pain provocation at the end of range. This is particularly valuable for patients with shoulder pathology, post-surgical restrictions, or pain-limited range — enabling therapeutic exercise within a safe, prescribed arc without requiring continuous manual therapist intervention to monitor and limit movement.
Safety by Design : The GX-300's engineering prioritises patient safety across every aspect of the machine: belts and wheels are placed inside the frame and out of reach of the user, weight stacks are covered at the front and back eliminating pinch points, the actual applied load is displayed (not a number from a stack that may differ from real weight), and instruction stickers are affixed directly to the device for clear, always-available guidance. The low seat height and wide transfer space allow safe, independent access for elderly users and patients with limited lower limb strength.
