GX-310 Leg Press— Clinical Leg Press Machine for Fall Prevention Training
The OG Wellness PREFIT GX-310 is a clinical-grade leg press machine engineered to strengthen the postural muscles of the lower limbs needed for daily activities — walking, stair climbing, rising from a chair, and maintaining balance during community ambulation. As the highest-resistance machine in the PREFIT GX series with a maximum load of 150 kg, the GX-310 accommodates the full spectrum of clinical need: from elderly patients beginning rehabilitation with minimal voluntary strength at 5 kg, through to strong rehabilitation patients requiring progressive high-load strengthening in preparation for discharge and return to independent living.
The GX-310's design integrates OG Wellness's preventive care philosophy throughout: a spacious transfer area and strategic machine geometry for safe, independent access; full positioning adjustment while seated — seat position, backrest angle, and foot plate angle — without requiring the user to stand; and colour-coded position indicators that make correct setup immediately readable by patients independently.

Spacious, Safe Entry & Exit Design
The GX-310 is designed with a spacious area surrounding the seat and foot plate, allowing users to position themselves on the machine safely and comfortably — with sufficient room to manoeuvre without risk of contacting moving parts or losing balance during the approach. This is a deliberate clinical design decision: patients requiring leg press strengthening are, by definition, those with the weakest lower limbs and the highest fall risk. The GX-310's access design is engineered for this population's safety requirements from the outset.
Full Positioning Adjustment While Seated — Three-Axis Customisation
Three independent positioning adjustments — seat position (forward/back), backrest angle, and foot plate angle — are all achievable while the user is seated on the machine. This eliminates the need for patients to repeatedly stand and re-seat to check and adjust their position, and enables the therapist or instructor to fine-tune positioning for each patient without requiring them to dismount. The single-motion adjustment mechanism ensures that each adjustment is both easy to make and securely locked in position during exercise.
Foot plate angle adjustment is particularly clinically important: different foot plate angles modify the relative loading between the quadriceps, hamstrings, and gluteal muscles — enabling the therapist to direct loading toward whichever muscle group requires prioritisation for each individual patient's rehabilitation goals.
Colour-Coded Position Indicators
Colour coding on the backrest angle and foot plate angle position indicators makes the correct setup immediately readable — without requiring users or therapists to interpret numerical scales or measure angles. Each colour corresponds to a specific position setting, enabling consistent, reproducible machine setup between sessions and allowing patients to independently set their machine to their prescribed position without therapist assistance. This supports patient autonomy and efficient clinic throughput in high-volume rehabilitation settings.
