E.Board —Testing Platform for Balance, Isometric, Tapping & Jump Assessment

SKU Physio-0125

The E.Board is a precision evaluation and testing platform built around four integrated E.Load load cells — designed to bridge the gap between the physiotherapy clinic and the sports performance lab, delivering the objective, repeatable force measurement and functional performance testing capability that both worlds require in a single portable, wide-surface device. Born from the need to provide customers with a new evaluation tool, the E.Board was developed creating a wide and resistant structure without overlooking transportability and providing it with precision sensors.

  • Four Integrated E.Load Load Cells : The E.Board uses four integrated E.Load precision load cells placed under each quadrant of the standing surface. These sensors measure force in real time and provide accurate data on total force, left/right weight distribution, and anterior/posterior load balance.

This enables detailed assessment of bilateral imbalance, quadrant-level force distribution, postural control, and movement symmetry. Unlike encoder-based systems, the load cells measure force directly, making the data more accurate and clinically useful for balance rehabilitation, injury screening, and return-to-sport assessment.

  • Five Test & Exercise Categories : With D.Soft software and integrated E.Load cells, the E.Board supports over 100 validated protocols across balance, isometric, tapping, multi-jump, and exercise-based assessments.
  • Balance Test — Bilateral & Antero-Posterior Imbalance : The Balance Test measures standing postural control for 10 to 300 seconds. It provides real-time data on left/right imbalance percentage and, when available, anterior/posterior weight distribution.

It can be performed with eyes open or eyes closed, helping assess visual dependency, vestibular function, somatosensory control, and postural stability. This makes it useful for balance rehabilitation, neurological recovery, elderly fall-risk assessment, and progress tracking.

  • Isometric Test — Peak Force & Limb Imbalance : The Isometric Test records the patient’s maximum force output at a defined joint angle, usually over a 10-second test duration. It measures force in kilograms and also records bilateral imbalance during force production.

This is useful for limb symmetry index calculation, return-to-sport decisions, strength baseline testing, joint-angle-specific strength comparison, and identifying compensatory loading patterns during rehabilitation.

  • Tapping / Rapidity Test — Speed, Frequency & Force : The Tapping/Rapidity Test records every contact or pressure applied to the load cells. It measures contact frequency, force per cell, total touches, and left/right imbalance during rapid movement.

This test helps evaluate speed, coordination, neuromuscular control, rapid weight transfer, and movement symmetry. It is useful for sports readiness assessment, neurological recovery monitoring, elderly fall-risk evaluation, and speed symmetry benchmarking.

  • Jump Test — Multi-Jump Performance & Asymmetry : The Jump Test assesses vertical jump performance using force data, flight time, and contact time. It helps measure jump height, reactive strength index, bilateral loading asymmetry, and single-leg jump capability.

This makes it valuable for athletic performance testing, lower limb rehabilitation, return-to-sport assessment, and identifying compensation after injury.

  • D.Soft Software — Biofeedback & Reporting D.Soft is the software platform that converts load cell data into clear clinical reports and real-time biofeedback. It guides users through standardised tests, displays force distribution and imbalance data live, and stores results for comparison over time.

The software supports personal profiles, customised programmes, cloud storage, report generation, and data sharing with physiotherapists, athletes, coaches, or medical professionals. It also includes a library of 100+ validated exercises and tests with structured protocols for consistent assessment and training.
