Lithobox Zero® — Combined Ultrasonic + Pneumatic Intracorporeal Lithotripter
The İnceler Medikal Lithobox Zero® is a professional combined intracorporeal ultrasonic-pneumatic kidney stone crushing system — a combined ultrasonic-pneumatic kidney stone breaking system used intracorporeally. Based on the principle of breaking kidney stones into small pieces using ultrasonic waves and reabsorbing them with aspiration.
Three Operating Modes — Complete Stone Management in One System
- Pneumatic Mode — Most Powerful, All Stone Densities : Pneumatic mode is the primary choice for: hard, highly calcified stones resistant to ultrasonic energy; large stone burdens where maximum fragmentation power is required; and PCNL procedures where stone hardness and access geometry favour direct ballistic impact.
- Ultrasonic Mode — Fragment and Aspirate Simultaneously : Ultrasonic mode is the primary choice for: soft, low-density stones (uric acid, struvite); stones in narrow spaces where fragments must be aspirated immediately to prevent migration; and procedures where stone dust clearance during fragmentation is a clinical priority.
- Combined Mode — 2× Stronger, Shortest Operation Time : With the combined use of Pneumatic and Ultrasonic systems, two times stronger effect is created, and the stone breaking time is shortened. Combined mode is the primary choice for: complex stone burdens where stone density varies or is unknown; large-volume stone cases where operative time is a clinical priority; and cases where simultaneous fragmentation efficiency and fragment clearance are both required.
Key Features —
- Touchscreen Control Interface : With the touchscreen, the user can easily control the pneumatic ultrasonic lithotripter. The intuitive touchscreen control panel provides clear mode selection (pneumatic / ultrasonic / combined), energy level adjustment, pulse rate control, and vacuum pressure setting. The touchscreen interface reduces setup time, simplifies intraoperative mode switching, and enables the scrub team to adjust parameters without the surgeon removing their attention from the operative field.
- Ergonomic Handpiece — No Hand Fatigue : The lightweight and ergonomic handpiece, with flexible, semi-flexible, and rigid probe options, is suitable for a variety of applications and endoscopy types. The Lithobox Zero's ergonomic handpiece design reduces hand fatigue during extended PCNL and URS procedures. The handpiece's balanced weight distribution and grip geometry reduce the sustained grip effort that increases surgeon fatigue and reduces precision during longer procedures.
- Ultrasonic Handpiece — High Power Without Overheating : Powerful output, fast fragmentation, sensitive, ergonomic, high effective without overheating, secure. The ultrasonic handpiece is engineered to deliver maximum ultrasonic power to the stone without generating excessive heat at the probe tip — a critical safety consideration in intracorporeal lithotripsy where probe tip overheating can damage the urothelium and surrounding tissue at the contact point.
- Digital Vacuum Pressure Control : Vacuum Pressure Control Unit — Easy Adjustment of Vacuum Pressure on Digital Display. Stones in internal organs are broken and vacuumed by ultrasonic and pneumatic waves. The digital vacuum pressure control enables precise, real-time adjustment of the aspiration suction level — from gentle aspiration for soft tissue proximity to maximum suction for rapid clearance of heavy stone burden fragmentation.
- Flexible, Semi-Rigid, and Rigid Probe Compatibility : Pneumatic, ultrasonic, and combined probes of Lithobox Zero are produced in different diameters and lengths. Allows use with rigid, semi rigid, and flexible endoscopes.
This probe versatility is one of the Lithobox Zero's most clinically significant features:
- Rigid probes: Standard configuration for PCNL procedures where the nephroscope access channel is straight and the widest probe diameter can be accommodated
- Semi-rigid probes: For semi-rigid ureteroscopy where the instrument has limited deflection but requires slightly flexible probe accommodation
- Flexible probes: For flexible ureteroscopy (fURS) where the endoscope's full deflection capability must be maintained during stone treatment — a capability that rigid intracorporeal lithotripter probes cannot support
This compatibility across all three endoscope types means the Lithobox Zero serves as the single intracorporeal lithotripter platform for an entire urology department's stone treatment programme — from PCNL in the operating theatre to flexible ureteroscopy in the day case unit — without requiring separate systems.
- Probe Range — Multiple Diameters and Lengths : Ultrasonic Probe: 3.8mm (11.4Fr) — 330mm (optionally available in different sizes). Pneumatic probes in sizes 0.8mm (2.4Fr), 1.0mm (3.0Fr), 1.2mm (3.6Fr), 1.5mm (4.5Fr), 2.0mm (6.0Fr), and 3.0mm (9.0Fr) at lengths from 450mm to 640mm. From narrow-channel ureteroscopes to large-bore PCNL nephroscopes — without compromising fragmentation capability.
- Compatible with All Brand Handpieces : Our pneumatic probes are compatible with all brand handpieces. Probe can be produced in intended sizes — enabling the Lithobox Zero to provide its combined ultrasonic capability upgrade while being compatible with existing pneumatic handpieces already in use in the department.
