The Baseline Back-Leg-Chest Dynamometer is a heavy-duty, medical-grade diagnostic instrument designed to measure the true physical strength of a patient’s major muscle groups. Primarily used for functional capacity evaluations (FCEs), job task analysis, and athletic performance screening, this device provides objective, legally defensible physical data.

Instead of relying on isolated upper-body tests, it measures the integrated power of the legs, lower back, and shoulder/chest girdle during a vertical lifting motion. The patient stands directly on the secure, stable platform, holds the dual-grip handle, and performs a gradual lift.
