THERABAND® Professional Resistance Band Loops — Continuous Latex Loops for Rehab

SKU THERA-FIT-0404

THERABAND® Professional Resistance Band Loops are continuous, 3-inch-wide latex loops for lower-body strengthening, rehabilitation, and mobility work. They are made by THERABAND, the originator of the color-coded resistance band and part of Performance Health. Each loop follows the THERABAND Trusted Progression™ System, with pull force tested and validated at THERABAND’s manufacturing facilities.

Because a loop has no knot to tie, you skip the rubbing, snapping, and premature failure that come from tying flat bands. The wide band also reduces roll-up at the ankle and thigh. Hip, glute, knee, and ankle exercises stay cleaner and more comfortable.

Why Choose Band Loops?

  1. No knots, longer life: A continuous loop removes the weak point of a tied flat band.
  2. Twice the resistance of a flat band of the same color: The engineered resistance of a THERABAND loop is aligned with a regular band tied into a loop, so pick one level lower than you would for a flat band.
  3. Wide, stable fit: The 3-inch width resists rolling and pinching.
  4. Consistent pull force: Latex loops maintain elongation properties and consistent pull force over repeated use.
  5. Quick for busy clinics: Hand the patient one loop and start the exercise, with no cutting or tying.
  6. Hygienic: Each loop is individually packaged.

Frequently Asked Questions

Q: What’s the difference between a band loop and a flat TheraBand?
A:
A loop is a continuous band with no knot. Its engineered resistance is aligned with a flat band tied into a loop, so it is twice the resistance of the same color in a flat band. The loop is also 3 inches wide, which helps it stay in place.

Q: Which length should I choose?
A:
Use the 8" loop for knees, ankles, and hands, the 12" loop for general lower-body work, and the 18" loop for thighs and larger body frames.

Q: Which color should I start with?
A:
Choose the lightest color that lets you complete the exercise with good form, then progress up the color scale as you get stronger. Because loops are doubled, you will usually start one level lower than with a flat band.

Q: Are TheraBand loops latex-free?
A: No. THERABAND Professional Resistance Band Loops are made from natural latex. For latex-free options, see the non-latex bands and CLX.

Q: How are they sold?
A:
Each loop is individually packaged. Some retailers also sell multi-color sets, such as a 4-pack of 12" loops.
